Physical anthropology: methodologies and concepts, by Fátima Almeida
After its retrieval from the depths of the subsoil, the archaeological collection of the Head Office of Banco de Portugal has made important contributions to our understanding of the evolution of this place and the Lisbon riverside. The finds establish various way-points between a past that until recently was buried under tons of earth and the general public.
In three sessions, specialists will approach topics related to the research into the osteological collection of the former cemetery of S. Julião.
Funerary archaeology: the burials of S. Julião, by Artur Rocha
