Having been rescued from the depths of the earth, Banco de Portugal’s Head Office's archaeological collection has contributed greatly to the knowledge of how this area and Lisbon’s waterfront developed. These historic remains build bridges between a past that was hidden until recently, and the general public.
Over three informal sessions, specialists will cover specific sets of the ceramic collection, the largest and most complete, whose study has helped in reconstructing Lisbon’s history since Roman times.
