National and international experts will take part in this conference, laying the ground for a discussion on issues concerning the coordination and response to large-scale seismic events.
Taking advantage of recent experiences and of lessons learned from seismic disasters, several topics will be broached, such as the difficulties faced by the public health system in crisis situations, the weaknesses and strengths of the city's infrastructure, and the social and legal consequences of both action and inaction during emergency management.
