How do you play a historical figure? To help us understand the artistic process, we invited Luís Godinho, creator, director and performer, who worked with the educational service of the Money Museum between 2015 and 2021, developing several historical and fictional characters.
Luís Godinho played renaissance artist Francisco de Holanda,[BP1] King Dinis, the Marquis of Pombal, scammer Alves Reis and architect Pardal Monteiro.
In a brief conversation, Luís shares with us which was the most challenging character he has ever played for the Money Museum, whether he has ever been surprised by a character and which one he would like to revisit the most.
