Education Programme for Schools 2023/2024
The Money Museum is a unique place. It combines an outstanding historical collection with interactive multimedia devices and was installed in an old church, which once housed a bank vault!
Curious? Bring your students and find out more about the history of civilisations, from East to West, through money and economics. Economic learning, from a historical and contemporary perspective, is key to promoting inclusion and raising children to become more engaged citizens.
The activities in the Museum’s 2021/22 learning programme are led by professional educators and link to the curricula of the different school stages. They encourage critical thinking and engagement, as well as doing and creating, following teaching strategies adjusted to the students’ age group, learning style and skill-level.
Learning activities are available onsite and online (through digital platforms such as Teams or Zoom). We also provide self-guided activities that you can do independently, at school or at home, using the learning resources on the Museum’s website.
